Big News - Baby is Mobile Now!

Sorry I haven't posted here for so long. I've been run ragged with Rohan getting up almost every hour most nights, plus trying to squeeze in work when he's sleeping, then house chores while keeping an eye on him.

That's all going to be much harder now, because the little guy is CRAWLING! Not only is he crawling everywhere but he pulls himself up and walks along the edge of furniture now. Of course he's been walking all over the house holding our hands since 7 months, but it seemed to take forever til he could even sit himself up. Then BAM, he's off and running at 9 months!

Now with the increased mobility it's time to baby proof. Actually the same day that we put a lock on the media cabinet he tried his best to get inside it. We're barely a step ahead of him. He's bumping his head on everything and licking everything! So just when we need to keep the house even more clean, there's less chance to do the cleaning. When he's awake, I'm just running after him every second. His toys aren't so interesting now that he can explore things like light switches, electrical outlets, laptop wires, the TV remote control, and a thousand other things we don't want him to play with!

To top it off, he doesn't seem to want to go in the potty anymore. His favorite place to pee seems to be on my lap. Next favorite: wherever he's sitting at the moment.

Ah, now motherhood gets even more interesting!

We're frantically shooting video and photos, as so much is happening right now. Soon he'll be really walking instead of his little wobbly penguin walk. Though I won't miss the phase where he stops putting everything in his mouth. I've been saying he's teething since late Dec. but he has yet to sprout a tooth!
