More Maternity Photos

Today we decided to take some photos. I wanted to make sure we had plenty to show Rohan when he grows up, so he has that visual continuity from before and then after as we grow into a family.

Plus, I had my hair straightened earlier this week, and it was dang expensive so I wanted to make sure to get a photo of it ($65 for just a style!) Anyway, it's been a few days, so the effect isn't as good as when it was first done. Which do you like better, straight or curly? I think I prefer the curly, but it's nice to try straight for a change every now and then... and I certainly don't have the energy to do it myself these days.

Then we went for a walk on the boardwalk next to Lake Alice. It was actually nice in the shade, as the humidity of the summer has decreased and it's just plain hot, not hot and humid :)

Sameer's drinking an Americano from Coffee Culture, our hangout from when he was first searching for a job years ago. Their cheesecake brownies are to die for!

I'd like to point out that the outfit I'm wearing includes no maternity items! Though I've bought some maternity wear, I have made do with a lot of stretchy bottoms and tops with empire waists. It's a good time to be pregnant with the styles that are out there now. These are the only sandals that really fit me, as they are adjustable. My feet get quite big and puffy...

Hi there! I hope you don't mind, but I came over from VegJ's site- I lived in Japan for two years myself, and have traveled in India as well. :) This site is going to be so nice for you to have and look back on your pregnancy. I made a site when I was engaged and kept a diary and now I can look back at it and remember what that time in my life was life. :) Anyway, best wishes and good health to you and your family!

PS Oh, and congratulations! Good luck on the name- my husband and I have a girl's name picked out for the future but can't agree on a single boy's name...
