Laura's Visit

Laura came down to see us July 1-7, a week after Aai and Baba had gone back to India. While she was here, we got to go to the Fourth of July fireworks in Gainesville, out to eat at a few places (Liquid Ginger on her birthday), and spent a day in St. Augustine. It was so awesome to see her, but I can imagine she must have been freaked out a bit by my huge shape! So I'm glad we got to spend some time together while I am pregnant... next time we meet there'll be a little nephew in the picture!!!!


Getthing slathered in sunscreen at the beach. Pregnant skin is more susceptible to sunburn, and I turn red pretty easily. We spent a couple hours splashing in the waves and turns out I did burn a bit anyway...

Relaxing by the kitchen after arriving - it's a long journey from Halifax... and her first flight was cancelled, so she had to spend a couple hours just sitting in the airport before takeoff for the next one. Door-to-door travel time (2 connections): 14 hours (at least she came into Gainesville so there was no drive from orlando or Jax)
