Aai and Baba's Great Adventures in Gainesville
Aai and Baba visited with us May 30 - June 21st. We were so happy to be totally taken care of for 3 weeks with Aai's delicious cooking and Baba taking care of our garden and even going so far as to wash all our windows! While they were here, we bought a charcoal grill and got started BBQ'ing, our backyard now has two new beautiful blooming bushes and a key lime tree, and I learned at least 5 new Indian dishes. (I still have to practice making rotis, as they are not coming out quite right the 2 times I've tried since!) We went to Silver Springs park in Ocala, shopped a bit, and also spent a couple days in Orlando before they had to take off for a whirlwind tour of the Northeast US for a week and then back to India. While they were here, we also celebrated Baba's 60th birthday at Stonewood Grill and then back to our place for some cake and ice cream!
We left the photo-taking up to them, so I don't have a lot to show here... look for more later!
In the meditation church at Lake Alice - one of the rare times it was actually open and we could go inside!
Enjoying a martini at Macaroni Grill.
Loved the color of this sweater on Aai!
Sunset from the rooftop pool of the resort we stayed at in Orlando.

Yup, you're showing it now. Nice to get the news of Aai and Baba's visit, and your other guests. Glad to see your progress - Lisa, you look beautiful as a 'mom-to-be' and Sameer you're not shabby either. You'll have that youngster embarrassing me at carrom, I know.
Hey, who won Wimbledon today? Bet you've seen it on that nice screen you two have. (We saw Murray win the long match with ? on our anniversary at the Seawinds motel in Digby on Monday night.)
Hope your 4th of July was good.
